When did you join Holibob, and how has your journey evolved within the company?

When I joined the team in April 2023, I came on board as a Paid Media Specialist. It's been an incredible journey of learning and growth, and I'm so grateful for the opportunities for development at Holibob. In recognition of my contributions, I was recently promoted to Lead Specialist - focused on optimising outreach and messaging for the Experiences Marketing Platform as well as the process involved in getting our travel brand partners ready to start selling experiences online! I'm excited to take on this new challenge and keep pushing the boundaries of our marketing efforts.

What are you’re roles and responsibilities at Holibob?

Since joining in April 2023, I've had the opportunity to expand my skill set massively. In my current role, I wear two main hats:

  • Omnichannel Marketing: Overseeing our paid media efforts, ensuring a seamless customer experience across all touch-points, from website to marketing campaigns. Over the last year I have honed my skills in crafting cohesive marketing campaigns across various platforms.
  • Onboarding: Crafting a smooth and informative journey for new brands, helping them get the most out of the Holibob platform and selling experiences online. This process has been incredibly rewarding and I feel my communication and project management skills have grown significantly from it.

My background in paid media combines really well with optimising the onboarding experience for new partners and I am excited to be working on such dynamic tasks.

What excites you the most about your current role at Holibob?

I love crafting a seamless experience for brands, from the moment they begin working with Holibob, and guiding them through a smooth onboarding on our platform. It's incredibly rewarding to play a part in helping people explore the world of things to do. Developing and executing omnichannel marketing strategies keeps me on my toes. I enjoy the challenge of crafting cohesive campaigns that resonate across different channels and drive user acquisition. It's a great blend of creativity and data-driven decision making.

What is your favourite aspect of working at Holibob?

It has to be the supportive culture. Holibob fosters a collaborative and supportive environment. One of the core company values is authenticity and I feel as though everyone here really lives it in their work, it makes communication so much easier and encourages all to be constructive with one another. I'm constantly learning from my talented colleagues and feel empowered to take ownership of my projects. This supportive energy makes coming to work a true pleasure.

What sets Holibob apart from other companies you've worked for in the past?

Holibob's focus on being a lean and agile organisation allows for quicker decision-making and faster innovation compared to other companies. We also prioritises creating a seamless experience for travellers across all the touchpoints we introduce for our partners to sell experiences online, so the scale customer focus is different to anything else I have seen.

What interests do you have outside of work ?

Beyond Holibob, I'm passionate about the world of social media content creation!

  • Co-founding Social Craft: As the co-founder of the user-generated content (UGC) agency, Social Craft, I'm constantly exploring new trends and strategies to help brands leverage the power of authentic content. It's incredibly rewarding to see the impact UGC can have on marketing campaigns.
  • Influencer Life (Instagram & TikTok): I also enjoy being an influencer on Instagram and TikTok. It allows me to share my passions with a wider audience and connect with like-minded individuals. It's a fun way to be creative, experiment with different content formats, and stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends.
